Dr. V-Lynn Song (Dr V)

Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Dr Song V-Lynn graduated from The University of Melbourne and worked in Melbourne for 4 years. During which, she did her PennHip training and obtained her certification with The International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. In 2008, she relocated back to Singapore where she completed her Masters in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery with Murdoch University.  

Whilst working in private practice, Dr V gained a special interest in Pocket Pets and reptilian medicine from her sister, Dr I. Together, they attended and participated in various overseas conventions and hands-on training. This includes the Exotics Pets course organized by the European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies. Dr V also became a member of the Royal College for Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and is a current member with the International Society of Feline Medicine. She is also in the midst of completing her Diploma in Animal Physiotherapy. 

Outside of work, Dr V is a mother of 6, 4 of which have fur and was fostered from young at the clinic (Monster, Pumpkin, Munchkin and Valentine). She is always keen to try anything new at least once and likes to D.I.Y.. During her free time, she enjoys attending various workshops, particularly those with a crafty nature and loves most sporting activities.   


Dr. I- Lynn Song (Dr I)

Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Dr Song I-Lynn graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 and has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery in Singapore every since. She developed a strong interest in exotic medicine during her internships in Cornell, Tai Wai Exotic Hospital and South Africa, where she worked purely with pocket pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters),reptiles and wildlife.

Dr I-Lynn practices various types of non-routine soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery. She is a member of AEMV (Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians) and RWAF (Rabbit Welfare Association& Fund) and also had hands-on training in basic reptile medicine, anaesthesia and surgery in University of Brno, Czech Republic in 2014.


Charmaine Tan - Dennison

Practice Manager

Charmaine holds a Diploma in Veterinary Technology from Temasek Polytechnic and a Diploma in Science from Deakin College in Australia. Upon graduation, she went on to further her studies at the University of Queensland and graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Equine Management). 

Charmaine previously worked in Australia as a Veterinary Nurse for 2-3 years before coming back to Singapore and joining the Monster Pet Vet family in 2019. From working with small rodents to big horses, she enjoys learning and picking up new skills and trade tips. Charmaine also has a special soft spot for dog and cat patients and can be found showering them all with plenty of love and cuddles whenever possible. 

During her free time, Charmaine enjoys cooking and eating. Spending quality time with her friends and family is also something she looks forward to doing as much as she can. 


Brenda Tan

Veterinary Nurse

Since young, Brenda has been intrigued to learn more about the various rodent species as she felt they were often misunderstood. In January 2019, Brenda joined the Monster family and has a particular interest in small animal surgeries and dentistry. Brenda hopes to further her studies in veterinary nursing to ensure that her patients receive the best care there is.

During her free time, Brenda enjoys heading to the gym and dance classes. She also enjoys baking nutritional treats for her fur babies, drawing on her Diploma in Culinary Arts with Restaurant Management. At home, Brenda is a proud mother of 2 gerbils and a red ear slider.


Lloyd Asuncion Ilao

Veterinary Nurse

Lloyd graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Central Luzon State University, Science City of Munoz Nueva Ecija, Philippines in years 2015 and 2017 respectively. He worked and practiced his profession for 1 and ½ years in a Small Animal Clinic in Manila before coming to Singapore. Lloyd has a passion in Emergency and Critical Care.

During his free time, Lloyd likes to run, cycle and cook up a good meal.


Belda Leck

Veterinary Nurse

With a degree in Animal Biotechnology from the University of Melbourne, Belda developed an understanding for the importance of welfare and management of industrial, domestic and wild animals.

Given the opportunity to care for dogs, cats, hamsters, terrapins and guppies throughout her childhood, Belda was driven towards working with animals.
She occasionally volunteers at animal shelters and foster cats when she has time to spare.

Through the awareness of animal abandonment across the globe, Belda strives to gain experiences from all walks of life, in hope to save the lives of stray or wild animals.


Rachael Koh

Veterinary Nurse

Surrounded by small animals and cats, Rachael has always had a passion for caring for animals. Rachael was given an opportunity in 2022 to join Monster Pet Vet to learn and gain knowledge in animal healthcare.

During her free time, Rachael likes to paint and embroider. Rachael is also in love with her cat, Fridge (who was adopted from the clinic).


Hannah Tan

Veterinary Nurse

From a young age, Hannah has had many pets growing up from cats, fish, birds, terrapins and even rats. She has been an avid animal lover and has always been interested in working with animals. After graduating from Republic Polytechnic, she decided to join the Monster Pet Vet family to pursue her interest in becoming a vet. Hannah will also be embarking on the Diploma of Applied Science majoring in Veterinary Technology to further her studies part-time.

In her free time, she enjoys baking, dancing, crocheting and spending time at home with her 4 cats, who she adores.


Noelle Lai

Veterinary Nurse

From a young age, Noelle has been fascinated with animals, often spending hours at the Singapore Zoo every year. Hence, she has developed a passion for working with animals. She joined Monster Pet upon graduation from Hwa Chong Institution in hopes of nurturing her passion in the veterinary field before entering university.

In her spare time, Noelle enjoys listening to music and watching horror movies with her dog, Pepsi. 


Dexter Sim

Veterinary Nurse

Growing up surrounded by dogs as a child, it is no surprise that Dexter applied to and graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Veterinary Bioscience. Having done an internship at Monster Pet Vet prior to serving National Service, it didn't take him long to figure out what he wanted to work as after his stint with the army.

Whenever he is off-duty, Dexter is either spending time with his adored Maltese, Bebe, or playing video games. 


Michelle Wang

Administrative Warrior

Michelle is the one that everyone goes to for assistance in administrative matters (and more). Bubbly and always ready to help, Michelle can sometimes be seen running around the clinic trying to solve matters. She also helps nurses with phone queries and reception work.

Outside of work, Michelle’s hobbies include the buying and selling of nail charms as well as collecting Crayon Shinchan memorabilia.


Babycat

Towel Inspector

Babycat’s favourite job is to test and inspect our fresh towels after it comes out from the dryer. She has a passion for stealing fishballs and loves to sit on the rest of the staff during lunch.
